About the event
Our first Hip Pockets event. Hip Pockets are a 10 piece R’n’B, Funk and Soul band including a 4 piece horn section. The band consists of some of Gippsland’s best-known musicians who enjoy coming together to play some of their favourite tunes.
Be prepared for a mixture of old and new tunes, heavily influenced by many of the great RnB, Funk and Soul artists like Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Aretha Franklin, Chicago, Steely Dan and the Jacksons and modern takes by artists from the ‘Sing’ movies, Bruno Mars, Harry Connick Jnr and The Cat Empire.
The kitchen will be open for warm snack food
Bring your dancing shoes, your sing-a-long voice and come and enjoy!
